Recognizing the support necessity, especially in the small farmers level, in 2005, the Neumann family established the non-profit foundation Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung (HRNS). The goal is to train the small coffee farmers and reinforce its capability of achieving better means of livelihoods.
The work is part of the long-term commitment to improve the conditions of coffee and cocoa sectors, focusing in the producing systems (better agriculture practices, farmers organizations, young people, environment and climate changes).
The sustainability is a global challenge and the HRNS supports initiatives all over the world that approach the nature and environment protection and promotes education and youth development.
The vision: healthy environment, dynamic societies and equality conditions, in particular for millions of farmers’ families in tropical agricultural value chains.
